What is BoardLinkStL?
         
Simply stated, BoardLinkStL is an innovative resource for all elements of board development.


Mission
BoardLinkStL invigorates St. Louis nonprofit organizations
 by enhancing governance boards
 through innovative recruitment, matching, and education services.


Begun in 2005, BoardLinkStL offers a unique service for St. Louis area nonprofit organizations seeking qualified board members.  Additionally, BoardLinkStL trains individuals who wish to serve as board members for area nonprofits. Our easy-to-use online matching service links these individuals with registered nonprofit groups based upon expertise, interests and a number of other variables as provided in the Profile section for each registrant. BoardLinkStL clearly understands that nonprofits work best when they have board members who are engaged and knowledgeable. It is BoardLinkStL's goal to both prepare potential board members and to connect them to area nonprofits. Our area of service includes both Missouri and Illinois.

BoardLinkStL is governed by an Alliance of nonprofit service agencies, all dedicated to providing excellent service and support to the area's nonprofit groups. BoardLinkStL's general operations are overseen by an Executive Director. The Alliance meets regularly with the Executive Director to maintain a focused organization.  Each Alliance Member serves on one or more committees which include Training, Marketing, Development, Financial, Scholarship, Personnel and Website.
